How to Stop Your Banner from Looping

Stop your banner from looping by setting the loop count to once or using the Stop Slide option—ideal for meeting platform timing rules.

Updated this week

Looping enables your banner to restart automatically after the timeline ends, playing continuously. While this can be visually engaging, it may conflict with ad policies on platforms like Google Ads, which limit total animation duration to 30 seconds.

For example, if your banner lasts 10 seconds, setting the loop count above 2 would exceed that limit—potentially triggering blockers or disapprovals during ad submission.

To ensure compliance with advertising platforms:

  • Set your loop count to "once"

  • Or enable the “Stop slide” option on the final slide of your design

Both methods will stop the animation from repeating and help you meet ad network requirements while maintaining full control over playback behavior.
