How Can I Use AdTags for Serving Banners on Ad Networks?

Serve HTML5 banners on ad networks with AdTags. Supports 77+ platforms, live updates, and advanced analytics. For Plus & Team plans.

Updated yesterday

If you're looking to deliver high-performance banner ads across popular advertising platforms, Bannersnack's AdTag feature is built for you. This advanced export option is available to Plus and Team plan users through an optional ad serving add-on.

What Is an AdTag?

An AdTag is a custom embed code (HTML script or iframe) optimized for serving banners through major ad networks like:

  • Google Ad Manager (DFP)

  • AdRoll

  • AppNexus

  • Sizmek

  • Simpli.fi

  • and more than 77 supported platforms.

Unlike standard embed codes, AdTags:

  • Are optimized for high-traffic environments

  • Bypass file size limitations imposed by ad platforms

  • Support real-time design updates—any changes made to your creative will be reflected live

  • Enable advanced analytics by tracking performance per ad network

User navigates the Bannersnack dashboard, opens the menu for a banner design, selects the “Embed” option, and generates a custom AdTag for ad network integration by choosing a supported format from the dropdown menu.

What’s the Difference from a Regular Embed Code?

Before this feature, Bannersnack provided a general embed code suited for small websites and limited traffic. Now, with AdTag, you can scale your campaigns confidently using industry-standard formats accepted by professional ad platforms.

We also provide a Standard AdTag for broader compatibility if your platform isn’t listed.

Billing and Availability

The AdTag feature is a paid add-on available only for Plus and Team subscribers. Once activated:

  • You’re billed monthly or when you exceed your usage threshold

  • Charges are automatically processed using the payment method in your account

  • You can monitor usage directly in your dashboard

Note: You must have a valid Plus or Team subscription to access AdTags.

Pro Tip:

Use AdTags if you're launching high-volume display campaigns through certified ad platforms. It ensures fast loading, improved deliverability, and better performance tracking.
