Creating designs with a transparent background in Bannersnack is quick and easy, allowing you to integrate your graphics seamlessly into websites, videos, and other creative projects.
Why Use a Transparent Background?
A transparent background removes the solid fill behind your design, so only your elements—such as text, logos, or shapes—are visible. This is perfect for overlays, product cutouts, or designs that need to blend naturally into different backgrounds.
Steps to Set a Transparent Background
Open Your Design in the Bannersnack editor.
Go to the Background section in the left-hand panel.
Select the First Option in the background color picker (this is the transparency setting).
Continue designing as normal—your background will remain transparent in the editor and in supported file formats.
Note: Transparency is only preserved in file types that support it, such as PNG and HTML5. If you export your design in JPG, the transparent areas will automatically display as white.
Pro Tips:
Use PNG for high-quality static designs that need transparency (logos, icons, overlays).
Use HTML5 for animated designs while preserving transparency.
Avoid JPG if you need transparent areas, as it will fill them with white.
