Using the free version of Bannersnack is a great way to explore our platform and try out a selection of design tools before committing to a paid subscription. While it gives you access to core functionality, some advanced features are limited or unavailable. If you plan to use Bannersnack regularly, we recommend upgrading to a paid plan for full access.
Features Available in the Free Plan
The Free Plan is designed to showcase Bannersnack’s core design capabilities with reduced access to premium tools. Here’s what you can expect:
Basic editing tools for static designs.
Limited resize feature – test creating multiple sizes from a single design until the process requires access to the Generator.
Watermark on designs hosted via our embed code.
Reduced daily embed view limit for hosted designs.
No access to the multi-design Generator.
No access to advanced timeline animations or Magic Animator templates.
Pro Tip: Even without Generator access, you can explore how resizing works and preview the workflow for creating design sets before upgrading to Pro.
Content Availability
Free plan users have access to a smaller library of assets, including:
A reduced selection of images, templates, and presets in the Editor.
Downloadable formats limited to static outputs: JPG, PNG, and Static GIF.
Premium content in Bannersnack is marked with a white star on an orange background, making it easy to spot.
Workarounds for Content Limitations
If a premium template or asset isn’t available in the free plan, you can still:
Open an existing design you like.
Click Edit.
Replace the content with your own to create a fresh design without starting from scratch.
Features Exclusive to Paid Plans
Some advanced capabilities are only available in Plus or Team subscriptions, including:
Saving and using your own templates.
Branded share links.
Additional workspaces for team collaboration.
