Understanding Embed Views

Learn how embed views are counted, where limits apply, and how to track performance with Creative Analytics for embedded designs.

Updated over a week ago

An embed view is counted every time a design embedded on a website loads using Bannersnack’s embed code. Since these designs are hosted and served directly from our servers, each load is tracked and applied toward your daily embed view limit.

How Embed Views Are Counted

  • Each design embedded using the Bannersnack embed code adds to your account’s total daily views.

  • When the views/day/account limit for your plan is exceeded, embedded designs automatically switch to a static image.

  • A small button will appear on the design linking to its Direct Link page on Bannersnack.com.

Where the Limit Applies

  • Applies: Only to designs embedded using the Bannersnack embed code.

  • Does not apply: If you download your design in supported formats (e.g., HTML5, MP4, GIF, JPG, PNG) and host it on your own server.

Additional Benefits of Using Embed Code

  • Get real-time statistics for each embedded design via our Creative Analytics feature, including views, clicks, CTR, and audience data.
