How to Keep Your Workspace Organized

Learn how to organize your design workspace efficiently using folders, labels, and status tracking.

Updated this week

Whether you’re a freelancer managing several clients or part of a large creative team, keeping your workspace organized is key to staying productive. A clutter-free environment ensures you can quickly find your assets, track project status, and collaborate effectively.

In your workspace, you can organize and manage projects using folders, labels, and status indicators. These tools help you separate campaigns, track progress, and streamline design management.

Organizing Projects with Folders

Folders allow you to store related designs together, making it easier to manage multiple projects without mixing them up.

Key Benefits of Folders

  • Separate designs by client, campaign, or purpose

  • Keep personal and shared projects organized

  • Store unlimited folders within each workspace

How to Create a Folder

  1. Click the New Folder icon under the workspace manager.

  2. Or, select multiple designs, click the Move To button in the top toolbar, and choose New Folder.

Tagging Designs with Labels

Labels act as custom tags you can assign to designs for quick filtering and identification. You can use them for project phases, client names, content types, or any category you choose.

Tip: Labels search across the entire workspace, so even if a design is in a different folder, filtering by label will find it instantly.

Note: Labels can only be applied to single designs and are not supported for design sets.

Tracking Progress with Status Indicators

Status indicators are useful for managing workflow, especially when collaborating with team members or clients. You can mark designs as:

  • In progress – currently being worked on

  • Approved – finalized and ready for publishing

  • Needs changes – requires edits based on feedback

  • Rejected – not moving forward

How to Set or Update Status

  • Hover over a design, select it, and use the Status dropdown in the toolbar.

  • Use multi-select to change the status of multiple designs at once.
