What happened to Bannersnack
Bannersnack launched in 2008 as a dedicated tool for creating HTML5 display ads.
In 2021, new account creation was stopped and users were encouraged to migrate to a different platform.
Because of sustained demand from users, Bannersnack was kept online and later officially brought back as a standalone product.
Why Bannersnack was brought back
Bannersnack was revived to serve users who need:
Fast, no-code banner creation
Reliable HTML5 exports
A focused workflow without unnecessary complexity
Core features like Smart Resize and multi-format exports
The product is intentionally optimized for display and social advertising, not positioned as a general-purpose creative suite.
