You can easily align layers within your canvas using the new option that allows you to align single objects or a selection of layers.

Aligning a single object is pretty straightforward: just click on it to select, then use one of the align options available from the Layer toolbar.

You can select multiple layers to align within that selection. This comes in handy when you want to arrange objects in a specific selection (relative to each other).

However, if you want to align multiple layers at once as a single object (relative to the entire design), you can group them and use the align tool as you would do for single items.
