So now that all your designs are ready let's switch our focus to Instagram where you can buy, run and track ads in one of three way:
- WITHIN THE APP
- ADS MANAGER
- INSTAGRAM PARTNERS
Within the Instagram App
The easiest way to run ads on Instagram is by promoting posts you've shared. Just select the post you want to promote, and then track how many people are seeing and interacting with your promoted post by tapping View Insights.
You can promote a post or even a story along with all of your feed photos and videos the supported dimensions ranging from 1:91 to 4:5. Your file type must be .mp4 or .mov for videos and .jpg or .png for photos, the maximum file size being 4GB for videos( 120 seconds length) and 30MB for photos. The recommended resolution is 1080 x 1920 for stories and 1080x1080 for posts while the minimum size is 600 x 1067.
Facebook Ads Manager
Since Instagram is owned by Facebook, you can set up, make changes and see results for all of your Instagram campaigns, sets, and ads in one place.
This controls both platforms so the process is the same as running ads on Facebook but with just a few particularities.
After you set your campaign objectives, audience and budget you need to choose the platforms where your ads will be displayed. For a specific Instagram campaign, you need to check Instagram and Audience Network. In this way, your ads will appear just on the Instagram platform and on the Network Audience
The next step would be choosing your Instagram account and setting the format for your ads.
Last but not least is uploading the actual designs that you've made with Bannersnack, and setting the campaign on "live".
